This was an extra special engagement shoot for me, because it’s my brother-in-law (who has essentially been my little brother since he was 15) and his wonderful, bubbly, smart, beautiful perfect-match wife-to-be. A huge congrats and lots of love (although they are already overflowing with that) to William and Nicole. ♥

This is a continuation of my last post, which was of the aunt and soon-to-be-official-uncle of this beautiful little almost-one-year-old, Myah. I photographed her parents’ wedding and day-after beach portraits in the summer of 2013, and it was wonderful to see them all again and meet Myah, who will celebrate her first birthday this month. 🙂

It was so much fun to do an engagement shoot for the first time in a very long while. Even though it poured pretty much all day, the skies cleared as we pulled into Siesta’s parking lot, and we had a relatively private beach and a beautiful evening for Karie and Gavin’s session. And Gavin had just popped the question a few days earlier, so capturing their newly engaged bliss was easy and incredibly romantic. The way these two make each other smile so genuinely is infectious!
