My oh my, I love photographing these gorgeous boys. Their last session was going on two years ago, but they are still just as – if not more so – photogenic and are really two of the sweetest and best-behaved (at least for me!) kids. And they love getting their photos taken!

More familiar faces… Nolan and Piper (and their parents) are so much fun to photograph, and I love capturing the progressing stages of them as a family. 🙂

I’m picturing this moment being captured in 20 years, Nolan laughing at his little sister Piper’s hilarious story…

And happy, happy belated first birthday to the adorable Piper!

Time for another brother and sister I’ve been loving to photograph for some time (Sydney at 1 year, Oliver at 2 months), except this is the first shoot they had together as a family! Big sister Sydney and little guy Oliver kept me moving – These two have boundless energy and are lots of fun. 🙂

I love watching client babies grow, turning into sweet, giggly toddlers and then all of a sudden into kids, with their own hilarious personalities, endless energy, and plans of their own. Elliott was 15 months old when I met him, and Amelia was just 2 months old during the family’s last session. They’re looking more alike these days, especially with their amazing wispy, silky blond hair. 🙂

I met Paige last year just before she turned one, and she was such a happy, smiley baby girl. Now, at two years old, she’s just as happy and smiley, but she’s also talkative (already!), silly, neat (she was concerned about the “messy” leaves that tickled her legs during our shoot), thoughtful – and a little nervous (declaring “It’s okay! It’s okay!” when we heard an ambulance drive by), and so adorable, with her wavy strawberry blond hair, crystal blue eyes, and infectious grin. I love photographing this trio!

I couldn’t think of a better session to kick off my back-to-work posts than Ella & Jack‘s. No strangers to my camera, I think these two get the award for my most-photographed clients. Hard to believe Ella was just a few months old when I first met her, and now she’s off to preschool with her French bob, spunky yet shy personality, and big doe eyes… And Jack’s not a baby anymore, either – Pretty sure he’s taller than most 3-year-olds, and he’s such a happy, sweet boy. I’m so excited that these two are going to have another sibling this fall – can’t wait to meet the little one!!

When Ella put this dress on (that she picked out), an adorably proud and girly side to her came out. I especially love it with her bare feet and little bruises. And how scrumptious is Jack’s expression??

Happy Father’s Day to this handsome new father. T is a lucky girl to have him as her dad. He loves her with his whole self and wants nothing more than for her to be a happy girl. And I am lucky to have him as my parenting partner.

…and to my dad for not only being such a supportive and loving father but also the greatest Saba to our little T… (Here she was 3 weeks old with her dad and her Saba.)

We’re back from our first trip with T – and back to work for me! Before I start posting client photos, since I’m already missing E, I had to stare at his face a little bit.

This handsome boy is growing up too fast – Can’t believe he will be 3 years old in just two months…

(On the right is the face he makes to try to make T smile. It kills me.)

E June '12

He’s so sweet to his cousin and loves to hold and kiss her (as long as she doesn’t spit up on him – then he’d rather she keep her distance. I get it…):

This Mother’s Day is extra special for me because I get to celebrate it for the first time with my daughter and my mother. 🙂

Happy Mother’s Day…

Thank you all for showing me the countless reasons it’s so unbelievably wonderful to play this role! ♥

It’s been an amazing almost 10 weeks being a mother to Talia…

(Belly at 37 weeks and T at 1 week… I’d wanted to take these shots since I saw Baby as Art‘s beautiful photos of the singer Pink in People Magazine last year.)
