Miss him already – but only a few more weeks till we get together to celebrate his second birthday!  ♥

Sophia just turned 5 (happy belated birthday!), so we celebrated with a shoot to capture her gorgeousness and how grown up she is!

Sophia

Of course, she had to do some twirling to show off her pretty dress!

And this pose just kills me:

Another post from the Cleveland shoots… The weather went from cold and rainy at the beginning of the trip to hot and muggy for this session! We walked around the great nature preserve by their house and had some fun in the wilderness. Both Ari (who was having his third birthday party later that day) and Chase were a blast to photograph. Ari kept me on my toes, running after him and bargaining for some semi-still shots, and Chase just sat and smiled. 🙂 Both made for fun photos!

I love this crew. After last February’s session, I was excited to photograph them again. Tommy’s all grown up now at 18 months (and crazy cute), Ava (happy belated birthday, Ava!) and Sophia are as sweet as ever, and we finally got dad Anthony in some photos! (And I am obsessed with the clothes Cassie picks out for the kids – OBSESSED.)

Sophia, Ava, Cassie, Tommy, and Anthony

These three are too much… Ava laughing at something silly she drew in her diary, Sophia showing off her modeling skills in their little playhouse, and Tommy giggling at his big sisters. 🙂

If you follow my blog, you’ll recognize this guy (at 14, 11, and 4 months) – and his eyes. They’re ridiculous.

Nolan

He’s expecting a little sibling any day now! Kari’s staying in great shaping keeping up with this one – always on the move. I think he climbed 300 stairs during our session. 🙂

“Out of my way, guys!”:

Kari, Nolan, & Kevin

He did pause to watch the geese and check out some rocks with his dad:

Handsome, happy boy!

Nolan

Excited to meet you when you emerge, little one!

Kari

Let’s hope Nolan can sit still for me to snap a few photos with the baby…

And happy anniversary to Kari & Kevin!

I knew another session with Lee would be a good time. 🙂 Mom Angelina prepares the cutest outfits, and more importantly, both Angie and Russ are such happy, loving parents. Lee is in her glory around these two and is a sweet, sweet little girl. As Angie said, I could photograph her in a parking lot, and we’d likely be okay. Look at this face!

Lee

Okay, the scenery at the Botanical Gardens doesn’t hurt… (nor do her soft curls, the amazing ensemble, and, again, that face!):

Lee

I don’t remember what her parents were doing that was so entertaining, but maybe I should hire them!

And the trio (and duo in a cute lovebird shot as Lee ran around giggling):

I’ve been photographing so many babies lately that I almost forgot how fun it can be to have older kids as subjects. Brother-sister photos are always a good time because of their dynamic – silly but loving (most of the time), and they try to make each other laugh. And even though 9-year-old boys aren’t usually too thrilled to have their photos taken, Hayden was a good sport – and little sister Olivia worked hard to get some smiles from him. 🙂

I’m so sad I missed Saige when she was just out of the oven, but I have to say, 3 months suits her well! Parents Stef and Brett sure do make them cute! Check out big brother Eli from some of his past sessions. Saige was so laid back and happy – and adorable, just as expected.

I do these collages sometimes when I get a bunch of sweet expressions with the same setting/backdrop – I thought it worked well with some of Saige’s photos. She’s just so kissable!

We’re back in Florida after an awesome visit in Cleveland and a quick but also great trip to Boston (congratulations, Lu & Chase!!). I’m missing E a lot, so I thought I’d share some shots from the last couple weeks of this handsome boy…

I love this face:

I love having breakfast with this boy:

And a couple more… The first one makes me giggle – That’s his “Why-are-you-bothering-me while-I’m-peeling-this-branch?” face. And I love the second because that’s his life, walking with his mama to the market.

Elliott (check him out at 15 months) is such an adorable, gentle boy and is now the older brother to equally scrumptious Amelia. I was excited to photograph the little 2-month-old and family on yet another rainy day here in Cleveland.

I can’t handle her – so, so sweet:

Not sure who’s cuter…

Congratulations to Lori, Jimmy, & Elliott for the arrival of beautiful little Amelia!!
