Now that the Sarasota Film Festival of 2011 has come to an end, I have some catch-up posting to do! The second big party was Cinema Tropicale, held at the gorgeous Sarasota Yacht Club, where there was lots of dancing, eating, drinking and enjoying the beautiful scenery:
A chef whipping up Bananas Foster (how he didn’t lose an eyebrow – or both – is beyond me):
Mangrove Slasher II director Sean Haitz (right) and director of photography and editor Chris Potter (left) chat with the media:
Student circus performers…
…and ballroom dancers:
Guests kicking some SFF beach balls back into the pool:
The band Cabal was incredible, with lead singer Ari McManus’ mesmerizing voice…
…and inspiring instrumentals that had guests moving:
Photos from Night of 1,000 Stars, Saturday’s Filmmaker Tribute, and Geena Davis’ and Christopher Plummer’s Conversation series to come.
