Elliott (check him out at 15 months) is such an adorable, gentle boy and is now the older brother to equally scrumptious Amelia. I was excited to photograph the little 2-month-old and family on yet another rainy day here in Cleveland.

I’ve been photographing Alexander since he was just a few months old (check him out at 6 months and 15 months) – actually, he was only a few weeks old when I first snapped a photo of him with newborn E. Now, he’s about to be a big brother – as in, Thursday. Christina is looking great – braving a photo shoot just days before delivering baby boy number 2.
Alexander, of course, at 21 months has no clue he’s about to get a new family member, but here he is having a laugh with his mama:

A slightly belated 18-month post for E’s cousin Nathan, so happy 19.5 months, little guy!
These are my two favorite shots of this incredibly adorable boy’s session. He’s so photogenic – that hair, those eyes, his sweet expressions… I think he’s getting even cuter! And the outfit complements his coloring so well (nice work, Ben!). I love photographing this kid!

A lot of my Cleveland clients vacation here in Sarasota, and what a great time to do family photos (instead of in the slushy chilliness that is Cleveland right now). Love it!
Little Natalie, big-brother Tyler, and family made the 18-hour drive (…during the kids’ waking hours, no less! Very impressive.) and are here visiting the little ones’ great-grandmother. Before heading to spend a couple days in Disney, they met me for a tropical photo session, and I can’t even stand the family cuteness…
Two of my favorite shots from the session. Not sure it’s visible in this preview, but you can see Julie going for a high-five in Jared’s sunglasses:
The kids were so well behaved and camera-ready… I couldn’t believe it. Most little ones require me (and their parents) to do a lot of coaxing, chasing, singing… whatever it takes to get some great shots. And I don’t mind that – I expect it. They’re little! But that’s not to say that I don’t love the rare occasion that I get a 19-month-old who poses and a 4-year-old brother who helps carry the little chair, hugs his sister, climbs a tree and smiles…
Lastly, I love these family shots. I was taking some photos of Julie and Jared, and then the kiddos stole the show.
Such a fun session on an absolutely perfect FL spring day!

Ella’s back! This time, she’s sharing the spotlight with her new, 6-week-old baby brother, Jack. I’ve photographed Ella so often in her first year and a half that I’ve really been able to watch her transform from a baby into a little lady (Ella at 16 months, 1 year, 7 months, and 4 months)! Now, it’s adorable to see her as a big sister, not terribly interested in Jack but also sweet and loving to him when she feels like it. 🙂
And Jack is one handsome boy – and so snuggly. He would prefer to be held at all times, but we had to get some shots of him on his own!

Meanwhile, big sister Ella cracked herself (and me) up:
Ella tried to hold Jack and give him kisses, but he wasn’t feelin’ it… (Ella’s faces make me smile.)
…He was somewhat more content hanging out alone (for a minute), so Ella chilled on the chair showing off her awesome Elmo slippers:
And lastly, this family photo exudes happiness and love to me – baby snuggles, toddler kisses… That’s a good time.
I’ve had so much fun capturing Ella’s first year and a half on her own, and now I’m excited to watch both her and Jack grow up before my eyes (and lens)!

I was so excited that this family was up for a full-on snowy session! And they brought along their gorgeous Bernese Mountain Dog, Apollo (my second puppies-in-snow shoot for the week!). I think 8-year-old Jacob was excited to be able to sled and play, while 17-month-old Asher was a little unsure of the knee-deep snow… Apollo had a blast and was not the easiest to corral, but we managed to get a bunch of great family shots nonetheless. And they were all great sports about the chilly temps and lack of plowed paths!
