I was so excited to meet little Piper during this past visit to Cleveland. I’ve been photographing her brother Nolan since he was just 4 months old, and during our last shoot, when he was 20 months, Kari was about due with their little baby girl. Piper was 7 weeks old when I finally got to photograph her, and she’s already set to have the same gorgeous eyes as her brother (and mother).

The whole fam – We managed to have Nolan not moving (or at least not much) for a few split seconds:

This boy always gives me a good workout during our shoots, but I will chase after him to get a shot of those amazing eyes and his sweet little face:

Congratulations, Kari, Kevin, and Nolan on the arrival of beautiful Piper!

Happy belated second birthday to Nathan (and to Ben and Jill)!! I have loved being this adorable boy’s pseudo-aunt for the last two years. Watching him grow into the unstoppable, super-talkative little man that he is now has been so much fun. 🙂

And I just can’t stand this cuteness… E giving Nathan big birthday hugs:

Amara is the cousin of baby Emma (here she is at 8 days old), and the cuteness definitely runs in the family. Both girls are adorable.

We did Amara’s belated one-year session at the family’s beautiful home on the water – so many pretty and inspiring spots to shoot! And such a sweet little one…

Cat (of Cat Pennenga Photography – check out her beautiful work!) asked me to photograph her family on their gorgeous wooden boat before they sell it:

…And we did a little lovebirds’ shoot of the happy couple (and their pup, Rufus). Cute tidbit – Cat and Greg left their wedding on this boat. 🙂

Peggy and Tom are about to celebrate their 50th anniversary – WOW. 50 years!! Their four sons and their families gathered from all over the country to celebrate, and one of their sons, Jim, and his wife Julie of SunCoast Organics, the amazing home delivery service for fresh, organic produce (and milk, eggs, nuts, etc.), asked me to help them commemorate the occasion with photos. They were an easy bunch, because they clearly have so much fun together – it’s infectious and a joy to photograph!

How sweet are these two?

And the adorable grandkids (thanks, Jim, for being hilarious and cracking them up!):

We took some individual family photos, too. Here are some of the SunCoast Organics crew. (Ainsley is hilarious and such a ham!)

Congratulations to Peggy and Tom on such an incredible and inspiring milestone, and thank you to the whole family for including me in the celebration!

Oh, Maddie Cakes… One of the benefits of having to go to NY for Janet & Brian’s engagement shoot is that we got to spend the weekend with Russ, Jordie, and scrumptious little Madeline. Although we’ve Skyped with them over the last several months, Maddie has grown up a lot since her visit to us in the fall. We thought it would be impossible that she’s actually gotten cuter, but we were wrong; she has. She is still so animated and happy – I could photograph her for hours. But I have to stop so I can give her kisses!

Here she is in her beautiful French dress for her pre-first birthday session:

And I had to do another collage of her amazingly cute faces… Choosing which ones made it was not easy…

I’ve been waiting to photograph Owen since before he was even born. Seeing as his parents, my sister’s friend Amy and her husband Rob, live in Washington, DC, I wasn’t sure when it would happen! Luckily, we were in Annapolis for Chris and Sarah’s wedding, so I finally got to meet and photograph beautiful, sweet, mini 4-month-old Owen, one of the cutest babies I’ve ever laid eyes on:

Sophia just turned 5 (happy belated birthday!), so we celebrated with a shoot to capture her gorgeousness and how grown up she is!

Of course, she had to do some twirling to show off her pretty dress!

Another post from the Cleveland shoots… The weather went from cold and rainy at the beginning of the trip to hot and muggy for this session! We walked around the great nature preserve by their house and had some fun in the wilderness. Both Ari (who was having his third birthday party later that day) and Chase were a blast to photograph. Ari kept me on my toes, running after him and bargaining for some semi-still shots, and Chase just sat and smiled. 🙂 Both made for fun photos!
