Wahoo!! Finally.

E - Eastern Conference Champs

I do have to say that Ezel is half-Cavs fan, but he can now properly root for the Celtics for the finals. And by root, I mean sport his super awesome headband without us having to hide it from his father.

After two weeks flew by in Cleveland, we are now in Boston for the weekend. So sad to leave Cleveland – my sister, life in Little Italy, and of course little E – but very happy to be here with the Campbell clan and friends.

Here are just a few shots of E from the last couple weeks.

Many more previews of Cleveland sessions to come.

We’re heading to Cleveland today for two weeks – then Boston!

One part I love so much about our time in Cleveland is “Nathan day,” the one day per week E (i.e. Ezel)’s cousin Nathan (i.e. NateDogg) comes to spend the day with us. We get to see this face:

E

alongside this face:

Nathan

It’s a good time.

These two together make me giggle – and want to squish them. And check out this sequence below. I like imagining what they could be thinking…

Is E already showing signs of being a tattletale??

And these two shots… First, E’s about ready to cry in protest…

…and then realizes that kind of tickles.

Hee. I can’t wait to see them both. I’ll be writing from Cleveland soon.

Yafo is one of my favorite spots in the Tel Aviv area, maybe in Israel. It’s an amazing combination of ancient history new design, art galleries in narrow, steep alleyways and stunning views of the Mediterranean… just gorgeous and fun. There’s also the flea market, packed with people and cafes (as usual around here) and tons of great finds (most of which I had to avoid checking out too closely because there is no way to bring funky patterned chairs and vintage dressers home).

Here are a bunch of photos from our day in Yafo, starting with the flea market:

Where’s Waldo (i.e. E) at the flea market…

More E at the flea market, posing in a chair I really wanted to bring home for future portraits. Oh, and note his adorable Beatles outfit (thanks on his behalf, Molly!) and organic Baby Star jeans:

A super cute children’s/houseware store (photo taken for our friend Erin – I envisioned her accenting their possible future child’s room with this kind of stuff but thought it inappropriate to buy anything in anticipation…)

Today Dana, my cousin Stav, and I walked around Tel Aviv, which always involves lots of food – eating at cafes, buying snacks at the market, and checking out the gorgeous produce pretty much everywhere. I am nearly falling asleep at the computer, so I’ll keep the musings to a minimum…

Lunch at family friend Roni’s bratwurst stand Frank’s (I didn’t even think I liked brats…):

And escaping the wildness of the street fair at LovEAT Organic Cafe for some “cafe barad” (like a frappucino only amazing) and halva pastry deliciousness:

Strolling by Tel Aviv beach yesterday (on my mom’s birthday), which is two blocks from the apartment, I snapped some shots that reminded me of my parents’ photos from the ’70s.

It’s 2am, and I’m stuffed silly from a really delicious and fun Passover seder…

So just a quick post of E at the Dead Sea – and yes, it looks like it could be one of many bodies of water, but note the floating man in the background of the left-hand shot:
