When we did this crew’s session last fall, we got a near-frigid, wet day in Cleveland – but 15-month-old Alexander had no problem with the chill, and we had a really fun shoot anyway! Now, Alexander has a 5-month-old baby brother, Julian, and we got a beautiful, unseasonably warm October day!
Can’t wait to watch Julian and Alexander interacting and having brotherly fun together in shoots to come!

Have I mentioned lately that I love photographing newborns? And for some reason, the newborn sessions seem to come in waves. Lots of new babies rolling in this fall, and it makes me a happy photographer. 🙂
Phoebe is a gorgeous little peanut and a super-easy model. We had a perfect, warm, bright October Sarasota day for her session, and her parents are radiating love for their new baby girl! ♥

I met Madden when he was just a few weeks old, and it’s really crazy to watch these little ones turn from squirmy, tiny babies into kids, talking, running around, and understanding so much I can’t even handle it. Every stage is so cute and fun, and Madden is such a great model – putting the pressure on for his baby brother or sister, who’s coming in just a few months!

I’m loving the newborn fest that’s happening these days. Photographing newborns is such an amazing experience – meeting these babies when they’ve been out in the world for only days or a month, and seeing the elation (exhaustion, maybe, but the elation always overpowers) of the new parents… I love it!
Maren Vera is an absolutely gorgeous girl, and although she took some coaxing – with patient rocking by her parents, she is a beautiful little model.

I am in love with little Wesley. Such a handsome, cooperative newborn model – and, let’s be honest, snuggling newborns as we get them into cozy, photo-ready positions is one huge perk of the job. His big sister Addie is so adorable and already takes such good care of her baby brother. So cute to watch. And we got another perfect-weather day in Cleveland (finally, an entire week straight of beautiful, sunny, outdoor-shooting weather!) – just the right temperature for tiny Wesley to sleep comfortably and some crisp leaves to make for a very fall-like shoot!

Since Jess is in the hospital right now delivering the newest addition to their family, I thought it was fitting to post a preview of her last-minute maternity shoot from last week. Jess was looking amazing at full term, probably in part due to keeping up with their adorable, rambunctious 2-year-old Max!

She’s back! One of the most photogenic little ones I know. Madeline has so many cute facial expressions during one little photo shoot, it makes it hard to stop snapping! (So the mosquitoes stepped in and made it easier for us.)

Jess & Craig got married in July on a beautiful day in Boston. Jess looked stunning, and Craig was a very handsome and happy groom! They were surrounded by an intimate group of friends and some family in Beacon Hill for a touching courtyard ceremony, the flowers were rustic yet elegant (and amazing), Jess’ dress was perfectly simple (the bridesmaids rocked the white dresses, too!), and everyone danced the night away.

Yay, Kate and Mike are married!! Kate is like my family, and Mike is such a perfect match and partner for her. They light each other up! I was honored to be asked to photograph their wedding amongst people I love in such a stunning setting on a spectacular, sunny, 70-degree day at Singing Beach in Manchester-by-the-Sea.
